An interview with Freddie Rostand
BBC South Today
shown on the 25th March 2009.
Anthony started his writing career as a taxi driver and writing whilst he waited on the ranks. He then started to hand out poems to his passengers and was already known as the Bournemouth Bard before he joined Yellow Buses for a short period of time. Anthony submitted a few poems to the Yellow Buses internal quarterly magazine 'The Ticket' and after his poetry was accepted, he was then interviewed by Deep South Media and after this interview was baptized 'The Bus Bard'. On the night in question, Anthony received a phone call from Freddie to say that there had been a change in programme and it would be shown that evening in half an hours time. The Freddie Rostand interview was broadcasted at 6.30pm by BBC South Today on the 25th March 2009 and it was a mad dash by everyone to catch it on the screen.
